The Logos Center Youth Program
The Logos Center takes great pride in teaching our children and youth and helping them to experience God’s love through our teachers. They begin with a child’s meditation to open the class. Basic Bible studies and the teachings of Edgar Cayce are incorporated into fun and entertaining lessons through crafts and projects that are age-appropriate. Every lesson instills the children’s trust in their own self-worth and reinforces the importance of loving and helping others. A deep respect for nature is encouraged and the significance of each child’s contribution toward planetary transformation is discussed. The children are introduced to metaphysical studies on a level they can understand. Subjects that have been presented include crystals, psychometry, and dreams. Each class closes with a prayer that every child takes part in.
Every Sunday, the children’s and youth program runs concurrently with our Sunday Celebration, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Deborah teaches every Sunday, and specializes in teaching our younger children ages 3-6. Deborah’s rapport with children, teaching abilities, and curriculum planning skills have been manifested through her fourteen years of working with children in the Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Creighton School Districts and Latch Schools. She has her Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
For 7 to 10 year-olds, classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday. Our teens aged 11 to 17 meet on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and these classes are coordinated by Elizabeth Linehan.
