The Logos Philosophy
Logos is a church and spiritual community based on the premise that there is ONE GOD in the universe. The nature of this God is best expressed by the phrase: GOD IS LOVE. His spirit is at work in every soul, thus there is a direct contact with the Divine within everyone, which brings love, healing, and guidance to each individual.
Logos is predicated upon the concept that although we may not have the same ideas, we must all hold the same ideal. That ideal is to experience and express Divine Love in the earth. It serves as a standard by which all else may be evaluated. This is why the Logos community is built upon the Great Commandment. We are to love God with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. This we affirm and believe is the whole answer to the problems of the world.
Logos is an interfaith church providing opportunities for learning, sharing, and worshipping together for all who seek a closer relationship with God and other people.
Logos is a school of practical Christian mysticism dedicated to developing spiritual leadership. We seek to work in the great spiritual tradition of the SCHOOLS OF LIGHT in Atlantis, the MYSTERY SCHOOLS of ancient Egypt and the Essene SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS. To this end, we offer ongoing groups, classes, and workshops. The Logos school exists to prepare individuals to use their unique soul abilities to be of greater service to others. We stress the practice of prayer, bible study, holistic healing, meditation, tithing, and responsible life styles.
Since the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce are among the best documented and most helpful mystical sources of the 20th Century, we encourage the study of this information especially along with other comparative studies. We affirm the universal concept of the Christ, as found in this source.
We affirm that all the people of this planet can live in peace, abundant prosperity, and good health, and we work toward that goal.
